Atlantic Lottery players have been dreaming big with Lotto Max since 2009. This fall, Lotto Max is bringing back the Dream Big Contest, offering players even more chances to win big.

This national contest, running from Sept. 8 to Oct. 20, 2025, gives players extra chances to win cash prizes of up to $1 million with every eligible Lotto Max ticket they purchase.

“When the Dream Big Contest launched last year, it was the first ever Lotto Max contest to run at a national and regional level,” said Warren Cable, Atlantic Lottery’s chief marketing officer. “The contest was hugely successful, and we’re thrilled to be offering it once again, expanding the excitement around a game that is a long-time player favourite.”

For every eligible $5 spent on Lotto Max, players will earn five entries into the contest. Thirty weekly prizes of $10,000 will be awarded leading up to the grand prize draw for $1 million.

Atlantic Lottery players can enter tickets purchased either online or in-store. Entries earned from online purchases will automatically be entered into the contest. For those purchasing in-store, players can enter winning and non-winning tickets into the contest at alc.lottomaxdreambig.ca.

While the $1-million top prize was won in Quebec last year, Atlantic Lottery celebrated 38 winners of $10,000 across the region:

• 7 winners in New Brunswick
• 14 winners in Newfoundland and Labrador
• 14 winners in Nova Scotia
• 3 winners in Prince Edward Island

Lotto Max offers the largest lottery jackpots available across Canada, with additional $1-million Maxmillions prizes when the jackpot reaches or exceeds $50 million. The Dream Big Contest only adds to the excitement around Lotto Max, giving players the opportunity to dream even bigger than before.
