Lotto Max hits record jackpot level
The next Lotto Max draw will be one for the record books!
On Tuesday, Oct. 13, the Lotto Max jackpot will hit $85 million for the first time.
When we brought in the new Lotto Max back in April, it was because players told us they always look forward to having the chance to win big jackpots. This week marks the first time that the jackpot has grown above the previous maximum of $80 million.
In addition to the jaw-dropping jackpot, Lotto Max players will also have the chance to win one of 16 Maxmillions prizes of $1 million and 85 prizes of $100,000 each will also be available. That’s a lot of prizes!
If Tuesday’s jackpot isn’t won, the next draw on Friday, Oct. 16 will grow even more, up to another record of $90 million, a record-setting amount for a Canadian lottery! There will also be 18 Maxmillions prizes of $1 million each, plus another 90 $100,000 prizes.
The current largest lottery prize awarded in our region was a $64-million jackpot in 2024. With all the anticipation around these record-breaking jackpots, we’re excited about the possibility of awarding an Atlantic Canadian with a giant cheque for $85 million or even $90 million!
Don’t forget to pick up your tickets on alc.ca, the Atlantic Lottery mobile app or at any retail location.
