Surprise win means an exciting family reunion for 2Chance player

Donna Camp of Pasadena, N.L. was recently contacted by Atlantic Lottery winners coordinator Laura Hartery to notify her that she was a 2Chance prize winner and set up a prize-claim appointment later that week.

Camp assumed she won a $1,000 prize on 2Chance, which allows Atlantic Lottery players to enter winning and non-winning eligible tickets into the contest to earn entries for monthly prize draws.

When the prize claim appointment came, she was speechless when Hartery explained that she had actually won $25,000.

Once the news started to sink in, the tears soon followed.

“I’ve been going around town telling everyone I won $1,000,” Camp said. “This is unbelievable.”

Camp is newly retired and is now adjusting to living on a fixed income

When Camp believed she had won $1,000, she and her husband planned a trip with their two daughters and three grandchildren. The couple has not seen their family for an extended period of time due to the COVID-19 pandemic and are thrilled to be reuniting soon.

Camp says the much higher prize means they will be able to do even more on their trip and treat their family members to a wonderful vacation. The prize money will also help them to travel more as the COVID-19 pandemic eases and allow them to visit family and friends in Alberta.

“I first heard about 2Chance from our local retailers,” Camp said. “They always remind me that I should take back my tickets that didn’t win on to enter them into the 2Chance contest.”

Those reminders paid off big for Camp, who says she would not hesitate to recommend 2Chance to anyone who plays.
