Atlantic Lottery unveils new location in Nova Scotia

by Natalie Belliveau

Atlantic Lottery has moved its Nova Scotia regional office into a new, contemporary space in the new Nova Centre in downtown Halifax. Players who have won a major prize can now visit the downtown Halifax space to claim their big wins.

“Our new location provides great opportunities for Atlantic Lottery to establish a brand presence in the busy downtown core,” said Brent Scrimshaw, President and CEO of Atlantic Lottery. “We are thrilled to have a retail store front in our new location, in addition to a dedicated area to welcome winners and host celebrations. This positions Atlantic Lottery to play a strong role as a responsible corporate citizen and continue our important contribution to Nova Scotia.”

Atlantic Lottery has made a significant economic impact in Nova Scotia.  In this fiscal year, the corporation has supported over 2,800 jobs, nearly $570 million in business revenues, $150 million in employment income, and some $368 million in GPD to the economy of Nova Scotia.

Centrally located on the corner of Argyle and Prince Street, the Nova Centre operations will ensure Atlantic Lottery continues to support the over 1,000 ticket retailers in Nova Scotia and the approximately 1,300 retailers in the province.

The grand opening celebration was open to the public and featured entertainment, refreshments, games and a chance to win prizes.

“The event is our way of introducing ourselves to our new neighbours and saying a big thank you for welcoming us so warmly to your community,” added Scrimshaw.
